Account Agreement & Community Standards
When creating a Digitree account, users must confirm their agreement to our Terms & Conditions and Community Standards. By doing so, users commit to using Digitree responsibly. Any violations of these policies may result in:
- Content warnings or removal
- Temporary or permanent profile suspension
- Account termination in severe cases
Our policies are designed to protect the safety, integrity, and trust of the Digitree community worldwide.
1. Prohibited Content
Digitree prohibits the following categories of content across Link in Bio pages, Marketplace listings, Templates, and all shared tools:
- Adult or sexually explicit content
- Child exploitation or harm (zero tolerance)
- Copyright or trademark infringement
- Fraud, scams, or phishing
- Misinformation & deceptive practices
- Extremism, terrorism, or hate speech
- Harassment, bullying, or threats
- Illegal goods, drugs, or services
- Self-harm or suicide promotion
- Violence, shocking, or graphic content
- Spam & abusive URL practices (malware, phishing, harmful redirects)
- Privacy violations & impersonation
Digitree may also remove content that is legal in some jurisdictions but violates our platform's safety policies.
2. Moderation & Enforcement
Our Trust & Safety team operates globally to review content, respond to violation reports, and remove harmful content quickly.
Moderation methods include:
- Automated tools: Detect harmful URLs, spam links, or unsafe file uploads.
- Hybrid review: Automated flags combined with human moderation for accuracy.
- Manual review: For appeals, intellectual property claims, or complex violations requiring context.
Actions we may take:
- Content removal: Individual links, posts, or marketplace listings are removed.
- Sensitive warnings: Users are warned before accessing flagged content.
- Profile suspension: Temporary or permanent, depending on severity.
- Account termination: In cases of repeated or severe abuse.
Users are always notified when action is taken against their content and given instructions on how to appeal.
3. Reporting & Appeals
Digitree encourages our community to report content that violates our standards.
- Violation Reports: Any user or visitor can submit a report via the in-profile reporting tool.
- Intellectual Property Reports: Rights holders may file IP complaints for copyright or trademark infringement.
- Legal Requests: Requests from authorities are reviewed carefully and only actioned with appropriate documentation.
Appeals Process
If you believe your content or profile was wrongly removed or suspended:
- Submit an appeal through the provided channel.
- Our moderation team will review the decision.
Outcomes may include:
- Decision overturned (content/profile restored)
- Decision modified (warning issued or removed)
- Decision upheld (content/profile not restored)
4. Transparency Reports
Digitree is committed to transparency in moderation and will periodically publish data, including:
- Number of violation reports received
- Categories of most common violations
- Number of content removals and suspensions
- Appeal requests and outcomes
- Average moderation and appeal handling times
Where required by law (e.g., EU Digital Services Act Article 24(2)), Digitree will also publish the number of average monthly active users in the EU to determine if we meet "Very Large Online Platform" thresholds.
